1. Who we are
Atel.work is an online labour market platform based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. We are responsible for processing personal data as described in this privacy policy. Email: privacy@atel.work.
2. What data we collect
We collect: name, email address, phone number, location/postcode, professional data (sector, skills, rates), availability data, certificates and diplomas, profile photo, ratings and reviews, IP address and usage data.
3. Why we process your data
Your data is used for: creating and managing your account, matching professionals with employers, communication about the platform, billing and payment processing, improving our services, complying with legal obligations.
4. How long we retain data
We retain your data for as long as your account is active, plus 2 years after deletion for legal purposes. Invoice data is retained for 7 years in accordance with tax legislation. You can request deletion at any time.
5. Sharing data
We share your data only with: other users (only your public profile information), payment processors (Stripe, iDEAL), hosting providers (AWS), analytics services. We never sell your data to third parties.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to: access your data, correction of incorrect data, deletion of your data ('right to be forgotten'), restriction of processing, data portability, object to processing. Send a request to privacy@atel.work.
7. Cookies
We use functional cookies (necessary for platform operation), analytical cookies (Google Analytics, anonymised) and marketing cookies (only with your consent). You can change your cookie preferences at any time.
8. Security
We take technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including: SSL/TLS encryption, access control, regular security audits, data minimisation.
